LOS ANGELES — Sara Jay is appearing on tonight's episode of Showtime’s "Desus & Mero."
Jay will take part in the popular late-night comedy series featuring TV and podcast personalities Desus Nice and 'The Kid' Mero.
Desus and Mero have mentioned Sara Jay on a number of previous episodes which led to an official invite to be a guest star as a surprise for the hosts.
“This is not the first time Sara has been on mainstream late night television,” said a rep, “having been featured on 'The Russell Brand Show' on the FX network.”
Previous Desus & Mero guests have included Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Don Cheadle, Ben Stiller, Gabrielle Union, Ice Cube and Bernie Sanders.
"To say I am honored to be on the ‘Desus & Mero’ show is an understatement,” Jay commented. “It's always nice to ‘cross over’ into mainstream. I've been fortunate to be on talk shows before — it's a great medium to reach a lot of people! I had a lot of fun on the show, available on Showtime starting today."
